I love that Elena does not want to marry for money, but for love! In that time period, that was so rare that women would stand up for themselves like that. Elena knows what she wants, and she finds a way to go after it! I also love that Chase isn't rich, he's a simple worker who does what he has to to get by, and I think that's what draws Elena to him. This is such a sweet romance!
